FAILTE GU AN CELTIC SNAIDH SIOPA A MICHAEL GAULE
WELCOME TO THE CELTIC WOODSHOP OF MICHAEL GAULE
Award winning chef, turned woodworker, Michael Gaule invites you to browse some fine handmade items created in his woodshop. After Michael became disabled he turned his talents from creating most memorable creations in his kitchen to creating masterpieces in his woodshop.
All of these creations, from trees uprooted by Hurricanes, bowls and platters from salvaged trees from urban tree cutting, pens from exotic woods, and art pieces from fascinating burls, Michael painstakingly designs and crafts each piece in his shop.
Michael is also well known for his custom cabinetry and also does a bit of carving.
Michael would be happy to create that perfect piece for your collection or gift giving, from his wood or yours.
*****NEW Items Now Available *****
***I have salvaged Maple, Magnolia, and a Pecan tree recently that was on it's way to the landfill. I also salvaged parts of an Elm tree and a Camphor tree that were cut down when a Church in uptown New Orleans burned down. I have also obtained a 20 foot long Cypress beam that I am turning 16, 18 and 22 inch bowls that are up to 8 inches deep, reserve your now, there are very few of these and there is no guarantee of finding any more beams.
I am working on these right now. Email me if you are interested!
